Artist Commentary: Before I was a full-time artist and before my 35 years as an Accounting and Finance recruiter, I was a writer. I love finding the right title for my paintings. Some titles literally come to me when I'm sleeping (thus the pad of paper by my bed,) some occur on location, many come from song lyrics and some titles take me days or weeks to come up with. "The Wind's Gossip" came to me as I put the final touches on this painting. I was packing up my easel and the wind had picked up and this title just kind of popped up in my head. It feels like the perfect title for this piece.
