Born in Modesto and raised in Long Beach, California, artist Ryan Brown studied business in college. Although he took a few art courses, Ryan is mostly self-taught, finding joy in studying the masters he admires and drawing creative energy from everyday life. He believes that "art is human creativity—meant to inspire and evoke emotion, just like music." While skilled across a variety of mediums, he prefers working with oils and charcoal.
