Please note that the materials we use have inherent imperfections that make our furniture unique. Items that utilize salvaged wood can have a coarse finish and the boards may crack or cup slightly. These unique qualities make our furniture so popular with the end user. To highlight the materials used in our reclaimed pieces, many of them are left unfinished. Coasters and placemats must be used. Customers should be aware that over time the tone of the woods may change, and a unique patina may develop. We build our pieces to withstand normal moisture levels but, as our items are mainly built from solid wood, we cannot be responsible for issues created by extremely high or low levels of humidity. If you are in either desert or mountainous regions and have experienced such problems with furniture of this nature, we suggest selecting other items in our collection as we will not be accepting returns from these areas. This warranty does not cover payment of shipping costs to and from Dovetail. This warranty is valid for one (1) year from the invoice date. In the event of a defect, malfunction, or failure to conform to this warranty, Dovetail guarantees to repair or replace any item found defective in material, construction, or workmanship under normal use and following care instructions. The warranty applies under conditions of normal residential use and does not apply to damage caused due to negligence or misuse. This includes improper cleaning, exposure to chemicals and foreign substances, liquids, accidents, or any use for which the product was not intended. Alterations of any type to the product by the consumer will nullify the warranty entirely. TRANSPORTATION AND DELIVERY DAMAGE ARE EXCLUDED.
