The shelves are nice enough. The wood is cut right, and the surface isn't cracked or splintering. It certainly keeps the appearance of this being the genuine article and not laminated particle board. The hardware looks good, and installation is easy enough. However, this all comes with a sizable caveat. The stain on these shelves was not dried or sealed upon arrival. The inside of the box was covered in spots showing were the excess stain had been rubbing off, and picking any of the boards up with my hands left a coating of residue. However these were prepared for shipment, it seems as if it was extremely rushed. I'm going to have to finish these off myself before I can install them. So disappointing.

Really like these shelves, however when they arrived and I opened the box there was a very strong odor of stain solution, that had not yet cured. Every time I touched the shelves it would leave stain residue on my hands. I applied a coat of satin urethane and they were good to go
