Make sure you measure your space very carefully - the finials are not moveable where the will land since it’s not an extender pole. The bracket placement ended up being not the typical location because of this.

Solid curtain rod. Looks great, exactly as advertised. Only "negative" is I would have like to shorten it by a foot. i was told I shouldn't. Que, Sera. Still looks good.

One of the colours of the rod was stated as "copper" but the picture shown does not look like copper. I emailed the question to wayfair asking to clarify the colour and after consulting the company they said it is closer to antique gold or brass, which was what I was looking for so I ordered it. I am very pleased with it. There is no copper or orange tinge colour in it. It is like an antique gold, which was what I was looking for. The end finials are darker in colour than the rod (like a darker coloured wash on it). My curtains are goldish with streaks of tan throughout and darker brown grommets. My wall colour is called 1/2 parlour tan. I had read in an article to match the rod with the curtain material and not necessarily the same colour as the grommets so that is what I did. I searched for a long time for a non telescoping rod and ordered the 8 foot size. My 96" rod did come in one piece as it is non telescoping so there is no pesky "hump" in the middle to try to draw the curtains over. My curtains are not heavy but the rod seems good quality and that it would hold heavier drapes well too. My grommets move easily across the rod. It does state the 10' rod comes in 2 pieces if you are ordering the longer size so be aware of that. It came with the mounting hardware in the same darker colour as the finials. The brackets can be adjusted closer or farther away from the wall and my curtains did not require a third one for the middle which was my intent on ordering a heavy duty one piece rod. I am extremely satisfied with the quality and colour and hope wayfair continues to supply non telescoping rods in future. The hardest part was trying to narrow my search to find one!
