• The reductive prints give the illusion of texture while maintaining the integrity of the original work of art. In other words - they are the flat version of an original. The key to our reductive print starts with the scan. The scanner captures all of the detail from the original. Every mark, brushstroke, fine line, smudge and incidental as well as the peaks and valleys of the piece are captured and reproduced to simulate the depth of the original when printed.

• The Floating Feather is considered one of d'Hondecoeter's masterpieces. Via Rijksmusuem: It must have been a great honor for d'Hondecoeter to receive orders from the supreme ruler of the country. He made this regal bird scene for Willem III and Mary's Palace Het Loo, with a pelican in the foreground, and behind it a helmeted cassowary, a flamingo and a black crowned crane. Water birds frolic around a basin, and a feather floats on the water. Painted virtually exclusively bird subjects, usually exotic or game, in park-like landscapes.
