• The reductive prints give the illusion of texture while maintaining the integrity of the original work of art. In other words - they are the flat version of an original. The key to our reductive print starts with the scan. The scanner captures all of the detail from the original. Every mark, brushstroke, fine line, smudge and incidental as well as the peaks and valleys of the piece are captured and reproduced to simulate the depth of the original when printed.

• Via Rijks: Striking in the painting is the high 'pass glass'. Drinking games were played with this special beer glass in the 17th century. Whoever's turn had to take a sip exactly to the next ring - a difficult job if you've already had a nice sip. Those who didn't make it to the ring had to keep going until they did.
