Additional Features

• Frame: Cap acrylic (no mat).
• Artist: Peter Josselin De Jong.
• Print technique: Work on paper.
• Josselin de Jong was a prolific Dutch artist who trained at The Royal Academy of Arts among other prestigious art institutions across Europe. He became the primary painter of nobility and the grand bourgeoisie in the Hague, receiving a Gold Medal from King William III. In Seated Female we see a different side of the artist as he quickly captures a model in a study. This page from the artist's sketchbook is often overlooked as a process more than a finished piece is given new life being framed and presented to a contemporary audience.
• All artwork is printed, framed and finished in California.
