Inspired by an English early 18th century design Knole damask so named after the vast estate in Kent is crafted in cotton and linen and inspired by a stamped wall damask found in the King's Closet. Intricate and small in scale this two-headed damask is an all-over design woven on an end-to-end warp with two colors creating an ottoman ground. Linen runs through the weft of the design for a sublimely textural fabric that has a heritage feel to the grain.

Named after the stunning variety of the Papaver poppy, this detailed design draws inspiration from the Zoffany archive. Made from 100% linen, the intricate details of this design, from the flower to the charming insects and delicate roots, are beautifully matched by the intricacy of the linework of the stipes.

This ever-giving design of exotic cacti and unusual double flowerheads is resplendent in Zoffany's alchemy of color. Printed on a fine cotton satin desert flower II is an eye-catching floral and an authentic representation of chintz from the Mulhouse archive.

Amoret is a dual-purpose fabric with a satin luster. A refined and elegant upholstery fabric the linen blend lends a full-bodied quality to the drape transforming it into a smart and tailored form for upholstery. Nirvana Embroidery - Depicting stylized trees and flowers in a checkerboard pattern, this fine embroidered linen has a beautifully, luxurious handle. Artisanal coloring techniques give a uniqueness to the design's Asian influences.

Arcadian Thames resident and poet, Alexander Pope, traded these rare and valued fruits for items of importance and curiosity. Domino papers are the earliest form of wallpaper, printed by hand and originally used as book covers or for lining chests of drawers. Most popular during the 18th century, decorative single sheets were occasionally used to adorn the walls of smaller rooms and it’s these decorative papers that have influenced our collection of Domino Weaves.

With the most incredible fluidity, this unusual bizarre silk is a faithful reinterpretation of a document from the Zoffany archive. Named after Sezincote, the Cotswold house famed for its Far Eastern influences, we’ve added a fine ombre to enhance the beautiful movement of color in this Italian-made fabric.

This elegant embroidery draws inspiration from an 18th-century paisley in the Zoffany archive. Zardozi Ombre is a contemporary spray-dyed design with soft edges and paired-back sophistication. It is three meters wide and railroaded, featuring a finely crafted floral motif and a highly decorative end border showcasing artisanal embroidery techniques.
