Table or floor lamp with stove-enameled sheet metal reflector purposely designed to take a special horizontal spotlight bulb. A plastic joint allows the reflector to tilt. In 1967 Spider won the Compasso d’Oro award. It is part of the permanent collections of the Milan Triennale, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Kunstmuseum of Düsseldorf, and the “Neue Sammlung Museum” in Munich. In 1972 it went on show at the “Italy: The New Domestic Landscape” exhibition in New York.

Direct descendants of the Stone of Glass collection by Laudani & Romanelli, the shapes of the Stones outdoor lamps are inspired by nature. These luminous stones, available in three different sizes, can be positioned, either alone or together, in the greenery of a garden or the intimacy of a summer terrace, to create an interplay of diffuse, captivating light.

Semplice for Oluce, a table lamp consisting of a single blown glass bell, acts as both the diffuser and the base for the design. The lower end, in fact, rests directly on the floor, while the upper part of the bell is covered internally by a metal cap that encases the luminous bulb. The extreme constructive synthesis of the structural elements of this product is accompanied by painstaking attention to details and finishes: the sophisticated galvanic processing of the head, the rotary dimmer positioned at the top of the lamp, and the metal braid wires. Thanks to this pairing, the ‘simplicity’ of the forms, from which the design adopts its name, is therefore enriched with sophisticated finishes and details, resulting in a product that is decorative and lightweight at the same time. Presented at Euroluce 2013, Semplice won that year’s prestigious “Best British Design Award”.

Recuerdo, designed by Mariana Pellegrino Soto, is part of a round solid in transparent glass, with elegant crystal materials or quilted effect, inside which the LED light source is protected by a frosted glass cylinder, creating plays of light and reflections inside the space.

Even though this lamp is great looking the light itself is so bright I had to replace the ditch cord to add a dimmer because of its brightness I couldn’t use it for my side tables in my bedroom. Anonymous. Sun Nov 09 2025

By means of the Switch table lamp, the Japanese designer Nendo, revisits for Oluce the shape of the classic abat-jour by renewing both its materials and its function. The archetypal shape of the cylindrical lampshade is transformed by using metal while its function as a diffuser is combined with that of a ‘switch’, hence its name. In fact, the lamp turns on and off by turning the sheet metal shade, inextricably linking form and function, aesthetics and functionality. Also available in floor version.

The Coupé table lamp is made of a lacquered metal base, a chromium-plated stem, and an adjustable reflector in lacquered aluminum. The simple and ingenious mechanism that connects the stem to the head makes it possible to direct the beam in several directions by moving the dome up, down, and sideways. In 1968, Coupé won the ”International Design Award” of the American Institute of interior designers in Chicago. It is part of the permanent collection at both the MoMA in New York and the ”Neue Sammlung” Museum in Munich.

Marta Perla has designed Siro, a semi-spherical table lamp with a disc at the front releasing in its interior an oblique light thanks to the slim LED light source. Seen from the front, Siro appears to consist of two-dimensional elements, giving the illusion of being perfectly balanced on a surface. It takes its name from the necessity, so typical of man, to search in celestial movements, possible links between one’s own past and cosmic phenomena. Hence Siro, deriving from Sirius, the brightest white star in the night sky. Siro comes in two sizes and two finishes: satin bronze or satin gold, with the interior of the sphere in white, heightening the contrast in color in a simple, graphic way.

A balanced and refined presence, distinctive but not ostentatious. Dora is a family of lamps based on the contrast between the warmth of the glass diffuser and the sobriety of the metal body that supports it. The strong references to classical forms, evident above all in the design of the lampshade, are softened and modernized in the minimalism of the metal stem and foot.

Superluna floor lamp conceals the electrical components and it hosts the light source: the LED opens out onto the stem in line with the semi-spherical shade that reflects its light by rotating on its own axis. In this way, the echo of the perpetual movement of celestial bodies is enhanced by the small luminous core contained in the structure of the lamp itself.

A theoretical lamp, endowed with just the right measure of geometric abstraction required by objects to maintain their courtliness. The geometries chosen by Stefano Casciani are primitive, ancient ones occasionally filtered perhaps, through cubist suggestion. The color (even white here is color) constitutes a necessary and consequent datum: marking the volume, emphasizing the profile. The simplification of form, in reality, protects a core that is complex from the manufacturing point of view (a double mold for blowing the glasses) and from that of the lighting engineering (with differentiated optics such as switches and the sensorial, grazing, dimmer).In the table version, a slight gap lifts the glass off the top and projects a sharp, circular shadow: a detail not to be underrated. Lu-Lu can desire, be left completely off and hence textural, or on and thus dissolved, but also lit only in its upper half (the light resting on the heavy) or in its lower half (the heavy resting on the light).

Extreme minimalism and freedom of movement. Calamaio is a desk lamp that brings light where it is needed thanks to the rotation of the head mounted on a structure that is also mobile. The LED light source is positioned at the end of the lamp, creating a pinpoint light beam. Its character is manifested in the bold colors.

Oluce is expanding the family with the introduction of Mini Coupe, a smaller-scale version of the table lamp. Coupe originated in 1967 from the creative intuition of Joe Colombo, who initially designed it as a variation on a lamp already in the company’s collection. At 13.4" in height, the Mini Coupe wittily maintains all the vigor common to Joe Colombo’s designs of the 60s. The Mini Coupe, with its chrome stem and semi-cylindrical shade, retains the distinctive profile and bold character which define the Coupe collection and which have always made it an exceptionally modern lighting range, now even more complete.

The G.O. 20" Desk Lamp is the revival edition of a model designed for Oluce by Giuseppe Ostuni in the 1960s. Characterized by a vertical shaft from which the horizontal arm branches off and on which the lampshade is mounted. The arm, thanks to the system of joints, is therefore a sliding element that can be repositioned and oriented depending on specific needs. The lamp also exists in a floor lamp version.

Plume, designed by Christophe Pillet, is a family of lamps consisting of a table lamp and two wall lamp versions, one with a long arm and the other with a short arm. The lighting project conceptually originated from a collection created by the French designer for the Sezz Hotel in Saint-Tropez, designed especially for the hotel through the Oluce Bespoke Tailoring service, re-evoking a more ornamental version of Plume. In a perfect combination, Plume blends a minimal, slender, and lightweight design, with a series of expressions that recall the classic lighting styles of the 1950s with the use of metal, configured as a collection with a precious, classic character, yet at the same time, contemporary. The entire family has an element in common, the lampshade consists of a thin metal surface, slightly folded in the center to symbolically form a feather.
