Glacial was born out of a direct encounter with the Matterhorn in the Alps of Switzerland. Staring right into I could see Glacial already taking form. I couldn’t wait to get back to the studio and create the wall sculpture I had seen in the face of the great mountain.

My favorite impressionist artist is Claude Monet, this piece is directly inspired by his prolific body of work. My objective with “Impressions” was to bring a contemporary feeling of impressionism into your life, with glass and metal. The layering of glass reflects the impressionist style, manifested in a metal and glass wall sculpture.

While visiting Japan and experiencing all of its beauty, I found myself in a moment of absolute presence on top of a mountain, when my eyes made contact with sunset so beautiful that I realized I had to do everything in my power to capture it. Once I was back in my studio I immediately started sketching and designing Sunset. The challenge of capturing a moment of pure presence, translating a moment into a glass and metal wall sculpture to be displayed forever presented me with an opportunity to create something truly powerful - like a Sunset in a far-off land.

Continuing the exploration and elegance of Karo Studios' incredibly popular piece Linear I, Linear II adds to the narrative. While this piece may seem minimal, it has a stunning visual effect. The shadows cast by the metal dance throughout the day. Linear II, like Linear I, seems to dance on the walls.

Inspired by the world-renowned Victoria Falls in Zambia, “Cascade” is a piece that was born out of pure awe. As it’s happened many times before, I was standing in front of nature in its full power, full beauty. Victoria Falls is the world’s largest waterfall, and one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Cascade is a glass and metal wall sculpture that pays homage to the seemingly endless falling water of Victoria Falls.

Inspired by the world-renowned Victoria Falls in Zambia, “Cascade” is a piece that was born out of pure awe. As it’s happened many times before, I was standing in front of nature in its full power, full beauty. Four Seasons is an attempt to capture a year through the glass. Each tile represents a season and the rotation of a full calendar year. Nature is a great source of inspiration for much of my work, and “Four Seasons” is a reflection of nature and its play with all of us. From the new life that is born each spring, to the warmth of summer, to the harvest of the fall, and the cold of the winter, whatever season we’re in we still feel the other 3. The sharp contrast of each gives us something to remember, something to look forward to, and several things to be thankful for.

Electricity is the force exposed to man through nature. We have harnessed it enough to experience a power that mankind now relies on almost completely. It is constantly flowing and reacting, and it is everywhere around us, yet, one simple touch can have a fatal outcome. How can something so dangerous and powerful bring such innovation to humanity? For me, this is true beauty. It's a balance between man and nature.

The element of Water is introduced to create a cool and refreshing visual experience to match the unique collaborative process of the Block Series. I wanted to bring a core, natural element to the experience of each collector partaking in the layout of this piece.

This piece aims to utilize fun colors and arrange them in a structured way that would still spark feelings of joy and play within its viewers. Hypnotized by the dance of the flame, I felt a deep, burning passion run through my veins as if the fire itself had replaced my blood. The power overtook me and created a new purpose for my hands: To serve this Inferno. To bring it to life. To capture it. To share it.

Cool and crisp were the words that appeared in my mind one morning. Cool and crisp like the Arctic. Inspired by both the Arctic Sky (white clouds with blue sky) and the reflection of the Arctic Landscape (clear blue water flowing through frozen ice and snow). This dynamic and harmonious composition brings a crisp and cool feel to any environment.

Malachite was one of the first ores to produce copper metal and today it enjoys a different life. Known as “The Transformer,” it is known to bring about transformation in the bearer's life. It can represent the full bloom of nature. It is known to some as a bringer of money. To others, it’s all about love. For as many bands as a single piece of Malachite has in it, it can hold that many meanings. Similar to glass. No two pieces are exactly identical. Malachite was a natural inspiration for a glass and metal wall sculpture.

The definition of triangulation is the tracing and measurement of a network of triangles to determine the distances and relative positions of each triangle in the network. Triangulation is a glass and metal wall sculpture that allows the viewer to create their own survey. I want the viewer to play with the 3d wall sculpture. Let their mind wander, and come back with inspiration. Triangulation is both a study and a meditation.

The creative drive for this sculpture was to explore dimension with the absence of color. Using a monochromatic gray palette, I allowed the movement in each tile of glass and the glossy opulent sheen of each tile to dictate its location on the sculpture. The outcome is this dynamic and harmonious composition.

“Quads” are playful studies that bring an elegant and vibrant pop of color to any environment. They can be displayed individually or grouped together in a variety of different compositions. You decide!

Dichro” uses a specialized process to create glass that creates stunning visual effects. This dichroic glass reacts and reflects different lights and the sculpture changes throughout the day. Using this special material was a dream of mine, and I’m glad I was able to experiment successfully with this process and to create a unique glass and metal wall sculpture for the Glass Grids series.

Piet Mondrian was and still is a pioneer in abstract art. This 3D wall sculpture is an homage to his contributions. Though his body of work spans several styles, his compositions using primary colors and simple lines are what brought him renowned fame and kept him in the front of our minds till today. The first time I saw a Mondrian, I was blown away by the simplicity and was fully captivated by the artistry - I’m honored to present this tribute as a metal wall sculpture.

Coral is mesmerizing, simultaneously moving and standing still underneath the ocean currents. Sculpted by nature, coral is a source of inspiration for me as a glass and metal sculptor. The 3D growth of coral is reflected in this 3D wall sculpture of the same name. My intention with creating this piece was to bring both coolness and warmth to any room Coral is displayed in.

Autumn is always a time of reflection for me, and I’m sure it is for many of you reading this. It signifies the beginning of the end of the year, a time to harvest all that we’ve planted earlier in the year. My hope is that the warm glow of this vibrant color palette can carry you through the harvest and keep you warm in the winter.

Using fun and colorful palette, I wanted this composition to bring joy into any environment that it is a part of.

This sculpture aims to capture the intricacies of woven fabrics through the delicate yet rigid feeling of glass. While fabrics and glass both have a flow, they tend to be polar opposites. The metal and glass wall sculpture explores the idea - “How would you weave glass?” Each intersection in this wall sculpture creates a moment of tension and beauty while holding strong. Materials are important, but so is design.

Living in a city, I spend a lot of time pondering what it would be like to drop everything and to live in the woods? Eventually, my thoughts wander back home and I continue my life in the concrete jungle. But what if? What if every morning I embraced the entrance to the forest - just me and the trees. I wanted to bring the Forest to the city with this wall sculpture. One of my goals in creating any glass and metal wall sculpture, especially in the Grids series, is to bring a new life or new experience into where my work is displayed. With Forest, it’s bringing that sense of true, green, nature right into your world.

Sedona is famous for its Red Rocks, underneath it is all a heart. The heart of the land. Creating what is referred to as Vortex sites, that are said to heal people. Sedona was inspired by the land and its fabled history. The intertwined shades of red reflect on Sedona, Arizona’s limitless landscape and heartbeat.

One of the highlights of my career was being commissioned by the Waldorf Astoria, Beverly Hills. A prestigious institution in Los Angeles and across the globe, the Waldorf Astoria presented a unique and welcomed opportunity to create something truly special. It was an honor to bring the Karo Studios signature glass and metal wall sculpture to the Waldorf Astoria, Beverly Hills. I hope each visitor to the hotel gets to experience my artwork, and it makes their already special stay, a little more memorable.

This dramatic color palette packs a lot of dynamic energy. Every sunset brings the promise of a new dawn.

Linear I is an exploration of mark-making through metal. Painters make marks all the time, marks are their trade. For sculptures, our mark is formed. Using lines, I wanted to create an abstraction and after several iterations, Linear I was born. The stunning visual effect created by the shadows cast by this metal wall sculpture will captivate you uniquely with each viewing.

The devil is in the details. This idiom is apparent throughout the history of art. Whether it’s the objects placed in renaissance paintings to display wealth and status, or the history of an artist coming through their work. Does your eye catch the details of Rectangulation or focus on the work as a whole? Can you change your focus as you view it? Rectangulation is a minimal, yet dynamic 3D metal wall sculpture. It allows the viewer to visually explore the sculpture and the shadows it casts to an almost interactive level.
