This Christmas Kähler's Nobili series of cone-shaped tealight holders and ornamental cones now features a new satin-gold color. Beautiful new design from the Kähler Urbania line - all of which are stunning. The main photo is misleading, however. It is actually a cropped image of the item. I thought I was purchasing the 'FUNKIS' design from this Urbania line (attached photo), but this is the 'KLASSIK' model - which I already have. Inspired by nature, Meyer Lavigne has created two vases for Kahler with the playful and, subtle expression that is the signature of this design duo – hence the name Signature. The stoneware candle holder has a soft, organic expression with the beautiful symmetry of flowers and leaves. The inside of the low candle holder is decorated with hand-painted, dusty-green stripes, while the candle is placed in the centre to complete the design. The candle holder fits a regular chandelier candle, and by using a colored, twisted or ombre candle you can create your very own style. In the spirit of Kahler's artisanal design tradition, the green stripes are painted by hand and have the life, dynamism and authenticity in their expression that is so important to Meyer Lavigne's design language.
