A Design Dua original design, the nap & pack basket is made to complement your home after use as a Moses basket for your newborn. It easily blends into home decor. This basket can be used as a Moses basket and later used as a storage basket anywhere in your home. This creative design is safe for use as a Moses basket but remains a beautiful home decor piece afterward. They call their bassinets, "nature's bassinets", as they are completely handmade with dried natural elephant grass. Elephant grass is similar to hardened hay. Each basket takes several days to weave from start to finish. This is a very difficult completely handwoven craft, as a result, patterns and natural dyeing may vary slightly. Leather handle colors may range slightly within their color groups. Baskets are made in a controlled environment according to government-issued safety standards. Our products have been tested by a US CPSC-approved laboratory for safety. Baskets are not to be used with any other pillows or mattresses. Adding other items to a bassinet can cause suffocation/SIDS. The baskets are made under strict standards and sanitary conditions, each is factory-woven, steam-cleaned, and prepared for use. Raw dried animal hide is not used, quality leather or cloth is added to each basket.

The basket can become misshapen in transit but can be easily fixed by reshaping.

The Moses basket is a keepsake item and met expectations. The problem was with the delivery process in that it took a long time to get to me and I had to follow up on the delay. I feel the problem was the item was not processed properly. My prior experience with Perigold has been positive and deliveries were fast and customer service was excellent so while inconvenient, I trusted that the issue would ultimately be corrected, and it was.
