This comforter is well constructed and warm. We live in the southwest and although we have freezing weather here and our bedroom is quite cold, this all season comforter is a bit too heavy for our climate. I'm a hot sleeper and find myself hanging my bare arms and legs out of the covers to cool off. I would recommend it for someone in Minnesota.
