The high-efficiency 1.0-gallon flush setting reduces water use by more than 30 percent over 1.6-gallon toilets, which adds up to potential water savings of more than 5,000 gallons per toilet, per year. The skirted trapway installs to the floor flange and attaches to the toilet, eliminating the need to drill holes while offering the same secure installation as nonskirted toilets.

Our toilet has worked flawlessly for 7+ years with a lot of daily use. I installed this toilet and noted it is a tad more difficult to install than a "standard" USA toilet. However, the differences are, IMO, from superior engineering - especially how to toilet fits onto the floor and the plumbing connects. Any installation shortcut(s) and for sure there will be problems. (Note: I was not compensated in any way for this review - just a firm believer in Kohler products after spending years repairing and wasting money on inferior brands.). Retired-diyer. Pennsylvania.
