The Emery bronze and silver mix of handmade matte terracotta tile is a testament to the beauty of tradition. These elongated subway tiles are made with centuries-old techniques. They're handmade and twice-fired in a wood-burning kiln. Emery's rich, dark metallic color and beautifully uneven surface can only be achieved through its genuine handmade production process. Investing in these tiles brings not just beauty into your home, but also a first-rate example of fine craftsmanship. The handcrafted tiles of the Emery collection are made using deliberately slow production techniques with each tile taking more than 30 days from start to finish. The patience shown by ceramics masters yields brilliant colors and artisanal surfaces. Made sustainably in Italy, this collection features subway formats, allowing you to mix and match for endless pattern and palette possibilities. The master ceramicists who create the Emery collection do so in a meticulous method that has been passed down for generations. The process begins with high-quality rock clay. Once purified, it is pressed into wooden molds and left to air dry for several weeks. Once dry, the clay is fired in a wood-burning kiln for 36 hours, glazed, and fired again for 20 more hours.

Urban 6”x3” Glass Subway Wall and Floor Tile. Delivery was right on schedule. They were very well packaged and there were no damaged or broken tiles. However, I am not too excited about these tiles. The quality is ok but the color is not what I was expecting. Very plain. They are also a little on the pricy side. Maybe that’s why my expectations were so high. They maybe a good fit if you like things on the simpler side. But they don’t do much for me.. Dion. US. Mon Dec 05 2022

With a milky white glaze, this rustic tile offers a glossy, reflective finish for a glass-like appearance. Asymmetrical edges and a smooth surface with varying indentations throughout this glossy tile fashion a handmade appearance. Derived from the classic subway format, this tile is tastefully smaller for a distinctive, unexpected design element. This old-world tile is great as a cohesive look or paired with other items in the Frisia program. Intended for interior wall use, this tile is an excellent selection to accent your backsplash, shower wall, fireplace faacde or accent wall. The tile is lovely. The red/orange hue shows a little through the white coloring though. One thing to note is to make sure the grouter knows not to fill in the gaps on edge of the surface. My grouter did not do this correctly and I have to scrape off the grout in the divets.. Erin. West Orange, NJ. Sun Mar 07 2021
