I really wanted to love this showerhead, but if I had to do it over I would not purchase this unit. I will start with what I like. 1) The spa stream is nicer than I thought it would be. This feature is pretty nice; however, my master bath doesn't have a shower door (because it it large) and the stream can project out of the shower if it hits a shoulder wrong. 2) The look. It looks great. Wasn't sure I would dig the white, but it actually is pretty nice and the showerhead seems well built. Things I don't like. 1) The droplets are not great. The wave droplets are better, and the shower head would probably be better if those were the only droplets. The other droplets are pretty fine and can be annoying. They also clog fairly quickly. 2) Inconsistent temperature. The wave droplets are much warmer than the other droplets. I thought I would dig the temperature difference at first but it's just not right. 3) Steam. The droplets are very fine and I have to turn the water temperature up to get the heat I like, but that has my bathroom turning into a steam room. Probably will have a mold issue at some point. 4) Minor install issue. There is a safety screw that holds supposedly holds the showerhead on the threaded pipe. This screw never caught pipe and dripped water out (I need my 2.5 gpm with no losses!). I used teflon tape to fix the leak, but for the price I don't think I should have to do that. Would I buy another Toto Product again? Sure! The quality and build are great. The unit just feels like no on ever hooked it up to a shower to test it out and redesign where needed. Hopefully this review helps in your decision process.. Hans. Salt Lake City. Fri May 20 2022

Experience the gentle buildup of a warm summer rainstorm in your shower. The KOHLER® Real Rain overhead panel is designed with a water reservoir that relies on gravity to shape individual drops that replicate rainfall. When the reservoir fills, water spills into the remainder of the ceiling-mount rainhead showerhead, covering over 775 nozzles, and raindrops begin to fall softly and slowly then grow in strength and speed until the shower feels, sounds, and looks like a warm summer rain. Push a button and the Deluge feature releases a reservoir of water in one powerful instant to simulate an energetic burst of heavy rain.

Experience the gentle buildup of a warm summer rainstorm in your shower. This showerhead is designed with a water reservoir that relies on gravity to shape individual drops that replicate rainfall.

Is it expensive I’d say so. Is it extravagant Probably. Is it worth it Maybe. Will it make or break your bathroom Doubt it. But is it cool Yeah - it’s pretty darn cool. I paired this with the DTV control system in our newly renovated bathroom. Placing this (giant) shower head smack dab in the middle of a 66x66 steam room. The gentle rain is NOT ideal for washing your hair or getting soap, etc. off your body. But it IS ideal for just taking a moment to breath, relax, and ponder about how you spent 75k on a bathroom reno and all you got was this lousy shower head (just kidding, about the lousy part). The rain drops are truly relaxing and the center area devoid of drops makes staying in the middle a treat. No worrying about drowning or gasping for breaths during the intermittent drops. The deluge function is nice as well. The initial drop tends to be a bit cooler since it usually sits for a moment (but isn’t cold) and is quite refreshing. I find it lasts 7-9 seconds on average. For us the distance to the control panel is a bit of a reach, so I have to say ensure 100 you can stay in the rain when you’re pressing the valve button (or digital button). It’s more enjoyable if you can have the full 8 seconds instead of missing the first 1-2. Installation wasn’t too difficult beyond having to drop the ceiling 4 inches and frame a 20x20 box for the shower heads recessed base. Post tile install - the shower head snaps in and overall isn’t too difficult to open for cleaning of the filter. (Though that in itself is just another thing to add to the ever growing chore list.) Yeah so all in all, for 2k (ish) - I’d buy again. If I was paying retail (4k), I may have been disappointed, especially if I planned on using this as my main shower head. My vote buy it.. Ethan.
