I hope that someone from Kohler or this forum can help me. I posted only 2 stars (I was originally thinking only 1 star) but because I have had great success with Kohler products for decades I went with 2. I'd like to bump this up to 5 stars if I can get a solution to my problem. As I said, I have used and loved Kohler products for decades in various bathrooms and homes. Unfortunately, my experience with their glass shower doors has been less than stellar. About 4 years ago I renovated a walk-in shower and purchased Kohler glass doors. They were beautiful and I took great care of them by using a mild soap, a lot of rinsing, and frequent (but not daily( use of a squeegee. Then, after about a year, both doors developed a foggy coating on the inside. It looked almost like alligator skin and it had a rough surface. No matter what I did it would not come off. I worked with Kohler and used their Tub and Shower cleaner, to no avail. I got replacement doors from Kohler and, again, after a year, the same thing happened. This past time the *only* cleaner I ever used as Kohler's Tub and Tile cleaner, which I got directly from the company. Here I am with a rough, alligator surface again. The doors look cloudy, too. I use *only* plant-based soaps and shampoos, which are very mild indeed. My house has a water filtration system so hard water is not an issue. Could it be that Kohler's special shower door coating wears off? What is causing this? Any suggestions from Kohler or the readers in this forum would be greatly appreciated. I'd really like to keep my Kohler shower doors if at all possible Thank you. - Lisa
