We bought this tub in 2015. Shortly after installation, by a contractor, it had a crack that the contractor had repaired. Now we have another crack that makes me question the quality of the materials.

I've moved around a lot, lived in new and old homes and apartments. I've never had an alcove bathtub as luxurious as this one. Even my partner who is 6'1 can soak in this tub - the soaking depth makes that possible. Plenty spacious for showering too. The texture on the bottom of the tub to prevent slipping thankfully eliminates need of a mat, yet it's perfectly comfortable to sit on when bathing. Very happy with this tub so far. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, because the plumber who put it in said he had installed many of these tubs over the years, but none in the last couple years. He noticed this one is significantly lighter than those in the past - like everything now, seems more cheaply made than it used to be. Hopefully it stands up to daily use....So far seems solid and I'm happy with it.
