The pros The tub looks great and the narrow profile is nice for a smaller space. There is ample room on the tub deck for shampoo, soap, etc. The con, which is pretty significant, is that the tub is a major slipping hazard. Due to how narrow it is, there is very little flat surface at the bottom to stand on. You have to be very careful when getting in and out that you put your feet right in the center so as not to slip. A nonslip mat is absolutely necessary with this tub. Also, it is on the small side. We are petite women, small frames, and it is ok for us (5 5, 125ish).

Bought to fit into a very tight space, and it does. Like a sailboat berth, there is no extra room, but what is there is perfectly comfortable. I’ve not had a cast-iron tub before, and love it. I’m not sure who gets credit for it, but the shipping pallet and crate were world-class.
