The sink and stand in chrome are perfect. The combo is just what was needed for my 1940’s bathroom redo. An FYI…..it was not mentioned to me until a week after I placed the order. The sink comes from Oregon and ships at a very slow freight pace. I live in Florida so the sink took a solid 8 weeks to arrive at my front door. I still gave the product 5 stars but order way in advance so you won’t be disappointed. The communication from Perigold/Wayfair was not great and forthcoming. Bought to fit into a very tight space, and it does. Like a sailboat berth, there is no extra room, but what is there is perfectly comfortable. I’ve not had a cast-iron tub before, and love it. This beautiful bath tub has been a labor of love - the process of choosing one that is. I looked at more modern styles by Victoria + Albert, and in person I was pretty disappointed with the volcanic limestone. It felt like cheap plastic to me & my husband. It could be fantastic, but it just felt cheap. I decided I wanted something more solid and classic in both look & feel. Cheviot has been a wonderful company to work with. I chose the custom exterior color “Midnight Navy” by Benjamin Moore, and I absolutely love it! Our home remodel and bathroom extension is still underway, so I haven’t had the tub installed yet. I have however sat in it many times, and it’s very comfortable. I do wish I would have gone for the longer size. I am 5’6 1/2”. Buyer Beware!!! This tub has dozens of daisy petals etched on the bottom. No images show this, and when I called Cheviot they said ALL their cast iron tubs have them. They are etched into the enamel, so not removeable. Was supposed to be a nice modern piece, but instead looks like my Grandmas old tub. Dirt clings to daisy petals and they are rough to sit on. A MAJOR disappointment for an expensive bathtub. I bought this for a small powder room. Very minimalist with soft edges. I purchased the bronze legs. Installed mine with Delta plumbing fixtures below and Anzzi faucet above. Even though i purchased complementary fixtures to sync the color, I did not want the plumbing to be too visible so Plumber had to reposition the plumbing behind the wall. Very pleased with purchase.. I like it. It is small and I can't lie on my stomach in it. It has good back support. Great for small bathrooms. Had to remove it from the crate in order to fit it through our door. Packaged measurements would be useful. We live in a bangalow and I do not know how we would get it in if we were to be in a condo.
