This is a great floor mat (based on one month of use). The padding is thick, sturdy, but soft. The material is very easy to wipe down and keep clean. My only (developmental) complaint is that baby clothes slide very easily on the mat, so staying up on all fours to crawl is more challenging for the baby. We use a gate around the mat to keep the baby toys away from our dog, the mat is large enough for an adult to comfortably playsitlay in the area too.

Even more beautiful in person! This is the perfect mat for our living room - padded enough for our 9 month old to roll around and not worry about the wood floors, sturdy enough for our dogs nails to not ruinpuncture it, classy enough to stay out and not feel like it’s another kids item you need to put away. For anyone concerned like I was, the stripe coloring is not pink like some of the main images can appear - it’s a beautiful taupe.
