[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lovely looking Storkcraft Rio 6 Cube Storage Organizer Bookcase is a nice eye catching piece. I really like the design of it, it’s sleek and fancy looking. I especially like the legs of it, it makes it look like it belongs in a fancy baby nursery in my opinion, or anywhere really. I like the versatility of it, it can be used as a shoe holder or obviously a bookcase, or even with small totes to put away baby clothes and items such as diapers and wipes or toys. I overall really like the appearance, and I like the color because it doesn’t stand out in a bad way. What I didn’t really like about this though was how some of the instructions were kind of difficult to follow, some pages just had pictures and some also included written instructions, I would’ve definitely appreciated it if they all came with written instructions as well. My husband helped me assemble this, so he mentioned he would of liked it better if the pictures stated what way we were looking at the piece, for example we were pretty much almost done with assembling the piece but we got confused on which side was the front and which was the back so we realized we had the top part of it backwards I believe. We pretty much had to disassemble it and flip it over and that’s when we noticed the finish of the wood is different in the front than the one that goes in the back, so that would’ve been useful to know. Another thing I disliked was when we were following the instructions and pushed the piece of wood into the metal rod we noticed it chipped off a piece of paint but it isn’t too noticeable since it goes on the inside, so I’d say the durability of this storage organizer isn’t all the best of quality, at least on the paint part of it. We also noticed some dents on the wood and chips of paint it came with so we didn’t like that. I liked that it came with a wall anchor for when you have kids that like to get inside and on top of everything so that’s definitely a worry off our minds, though I’d appreciate it more if it were metal anchors because the one it came with seemed like zip ties. It also came with an extra bag of hardware in case there’s any pieces missing or lost. In my opinion I think it’s bigger than I expected, I like the dimensions of it, as you can tell it can definitely fit quite a few pack of wipes and diapers in the cubbies. The stability of it isn’t the best at least not on my floor since I feel like it would tip over if my kids tried to climb it, but I’m sure after the anchor install it would be more safe for the kids. This item performed well on being a storage organizer for my children’s items and needs.
