The crib itself is beautiful and relatively easy to assemble, which I really appreciated. The design looks great. However, I had concerns right from the start. The package arrived with the seal already open, and the box was reclosed over the original seal using duct tape, which was disappointing and raised questions about handling and quality control. The biggest issue, though, is the smell. The frame has a very strong, overwhelming odor that smells like paint or chemicals. At first, we thought it was just from the packaging, but it’s clearly coming from the crib itself. We’ve been airing it out for 5 days now in a well-ventilated space, and the smell has not improved. For a piece of furniture intended for a baby, this is simply unacceptable. I’m genuinely concerned about safety and whether the odor will ever fully go away.
