I love this print. It’s large at 51’x51’ (4.25 ft). The problem was that the frame came quite damaged, see photos. We had to wait a month for the second one to arrive and because these are hand finished, the accents were slightly different from the first one as far as tone. Luckily the wall is neutral enough to accommodate that, otherwise it would’ve been a whole additional can of worms to contend with. The client is happy so we are happy. The artist was born in Buffalo, NY, and grew up in Egypt. He studied modern art and art history at the University of Fine Arts in Cairo, Egypt. Mark's grandfather was one of the earliest generations who founded modern Egyptian art. He remembers growing up and admiring his paintings. Mark's skill set developed by studying old master paintings in museums in different countries around the world. Mark finds inspiration from nature and the world around him. Such as everyday events and details that most people would miss. Marks enjoys using the oil medium for his art. In Mark's free time, he enjoys hanging out with friends and playing billiards.
