Elegantly hand-crafted by artisans in China's Guangdong province, this beautiful piece combines a Song dynasty-style porcelain vase. The porcelain part of the lamp features a textured glaze sure to add a colorful accent to any room. A fabric shade on a steel frame completes the design. This porcelain lamp features a three-way light fixture that uses up to a 100-watt bulb and includes a soft handmade shade.

The timeless painterly quality comes to life in a pattern that calls to mind an animal print. Originally painted by madcap cottage designer John Loecke, mill reef is one of our favorite patterns. Under the madcap cottage for the Port 68 collection, the mill reef lamp is a design classic. Scaled in a double gourd shape, this porcelain lamp works well next to the sofa, end table, or buffet. Available in indigo and green with white accents. The lamp will ship with our classic off-white hardback shade (as shown), but the madcap gents suggest mixing it up with one of their patterned shades from their collection. We have also shown the lamp with daffodil Isleboro Eve hardback shade. The sun porch in the madcap's house of bedlam is shown with a pair of lamps with the ever-so-happy, daffodil Isleboro eve shades. As the gents would say - "bring the adventure home". Aged brass finished metal hardware. Metal ball finial.

The lamps are lovely. Nicely made, heavy and substantial. The shipping was superb. No way these were coming damaged. Really happy with them.. Laura. O Fallon, MO. Mon Nov 11 2024

This sweet little ceramic lamp is at home in any coastal setting. The textured shade and petite base make it a versatile piece. Great for kitchen counter, bookshelf, or desk.

Just the right size for my entry table. I put it on a wooden box and it is subtle.. Jane. Royal Oak, MI. Mon Aug 10 2026

Inspired by a fabled English country house not far from Oxford and Blenheim Palace, this floral fantasy whisks a spirited splash of British beauty back home. The colorful floral pattern by Madcap Cottage is captured on porcelain lamps and an oval planter in colors of blue and white, and a mix of emerald/pink/yellow. The double gourd classic shaped lamp is accented with brass hardware and a lucite square base. Crystal ball finial.

The Ostracon table lamp is made of ceramic with gray and cream glazing that overlays a swirling blue pattern to give it depth. Sitting atop a black base, the blue table lamp is topped with an ivory shantung shade that echoes the creamy hues in its body. When purchasing a pair of these lamps, please expect differences in finishes between the two. Please refer to the images to see examples of variations that may occur in this reactive glaze.

This lamp is beautiful. I searched for a long time an was hesitant to buy one online but this is perfect in my living room.. Amy. Knoxville, TN. Tue Nov 18 2025
