This replaced some yucky black inserts surrounded by popcorn ceilings. I removed the popcorn and painted the ceiling flat white. So I had to replace these light inserts because they now stuck out like sore thumbs. Easy to install, I just used the hooks that were on the original ones and it was perfect.. Zinfl. FL.
