A Barbara Barry Shakti weave rug in grey and beige tones. Effervescence is a beloved carpet designed by world-renowned designer Barbara Barry. The design is rich with movement and optimism, a botanical inspiration. Effervescence Absinthe was hand-knotted of the finest Himalayan wool and silk with depth and texture resulting from both cut and uncut loops. This rug was made in Nepal under our strict environmental and social practices. The weave used in the rug is our premium Shakti quality which has an average pile height of 0.28 inches. Effervescence Absinthe features a soft grey field of uncut loop pile which is layered with light beige bubbles and silken honey accents.

Star Silk is hand-knotted from silk and the motif is hand-carved into the surface. Helen says: "I use this star pattern carved into metallic leathers, but the silk used for the rug really enhances it. I call it Star, but you could see diamonds or little boxes too."
