The Shaker™ apron front fireclay sink is a modern interpretation of the 1897 original. Instead of the iconic apron front with rounded corners, the Shaker has a clean, rectangular shape with squared-off sides and thinner walls for a slimmer, more minimal look. This sink grid makes my sink so much more useful. Just having another place to put a hot pan has made my work in the kitchen much more efficient. The only minor problem is that the opening in the grid is not fully centered on the drain of my sink. It is about an inch off, which I am simply going to have to learn to ignore, I guess.. Cheryl.
