Colors were not as neutral as the photo made it look. Bright yellow and powder blue really jumped out. I'd call this a blue and yellow rug, NOT a muted earthy taupe. Would be great for a nursery. The rug is very pretty but about 4 inches short on width and 3 inches short on length. We will keep the rug but those extra inches would have made the fit in our room much better.
