This vintage 5x10 Persian Kilim is a tribal rug of Varamin provenance. Handwoven in wool, it originates circa 1950-1960.On the Design:Connoisseurs may note that Varamin refers to the titular city in Tehran, which is a long-revered center of Persian rug weaving.This particular design plays many rich and warm colors in a series of stripes and geometric patterns with an especially present burgundy. It's an exemplary tribal Kilim runner with a comfortable, simple presence and vast design applications in its rustic charm.On the Condition: This vintage Persian tribal Kilim further enjoys good condition for its age and origin.
