Inspired by traditional Turkish textiles and patterns, this 3'x12' runner is made from a beautiful blend of classic cotton and luxurious New Zealand wool in earthy and blue tones, with unique, intricate motifs that seem to speak a story all their own. Following a technique and tradition dating back thousands of years, each hand-knotted rug can take two to three master weavers five to six weeks to complete, depending on the size and intricacy of each rug. Every hand-knotted rug is designed to wear beautifully over time, making them heirlooms to be passed down for generations.

Herati rugs hold a clearly distinguishable aesthetic that's recognizable from any distance. The rug's flawless and detailed designs have been famous in the carpet market for ages. Other Persian rugs view the Herati's designs as an inspiration.Herati rugs can be classified as slightly similar to Persian rugs that have inherited its designs. Tabriz rugs and Bidjar rugs are two such examples. However, these rugs surfaced in the western market somewhere in the early 19th century, lacking the antique nature of the Herati.Herati design which is a famous center of weaving in India.The most distinguishing feature of Herati rugs is their beautiful and elaborate patterns and their warm and soothing colors.

The pile used in Yalameh rugs is very fine, particularly in comparison to other tribal designs, using soft wool based on a Wool foundation. The pattern is distinctive with large repeated diamonds in a straight line down the carpet, often with geometrical animal or human prints scattered across the field. Dark red or light brown on a blue or orange background is most common for Yalameh, similar to Shiraz rugs, the rugs compliment modern or minimalist furniture beautifully, giving the living space an aura of luxurious style and warm.
