Based on a carpet designed by John Henry Dearle in the 1890s, this sumptuous velvet fabric depicts Persian, overblown flowers climbing in a trailing pattern with softened edges. Use the upholstery to give a room an eclectic look and rich palette.

This linen-blend upholstery fabric was inspired by a carpet hand-woven at Merton abbey and exhibited by morris and co. At the 1893 arts and crafts society exhibition. The original design probably came from the enormous Persian original hung by morris in his dining room at Kelmscott's house and is now produced in versatile, restful colorways and a wallpaper of the same name.

A tweedy, semi-plain woven upholstery fabric with mixed color flecks running through, produced in a rich palette of earthy colorways. First produced in 1884, this opulent linen upholstery fabric features a striped meandering diagonal branch from which flowers emanate. The original would have needed 32 blocks to print it. Today 100% linen version is available in a stunning array of colorways with a beautiful drape quality.
