Substantial canisters. Really beautiful!. Anonymous. Sat Jul 25 2026

The collection was inspired by the powerful sensuality of orchids and the rich ambiance of haute couture strikingly simple yet full of the most extreme detail. The collection has an almost gothic feeling opiated, lush, and smoldering like the dark, velvety atmosphere of a luxurious evening. "There is something so seductive about orchids. In blackened nickel, they are even more sublime, like a woman wearing a black velvet gown floating through a great estate or a glassy urban high-rise. The dark atmosphere of the orchids against the hammered metal is like the afterglow of a beautiful evening."

Lovely design, slightly smaller than dimensions indicated. Using it as a toilet paper caddy.. Anonymous. Hanover, MD. Sat Jul 23 2022

Perfect for a vanity or desk, our Gala Canisters are made from natural alabaster with a smooth domed top for a feminine statement. As alabaster is a natural product, please be aware that there will always be variations in veining and color. This is to be expected and makes every alabaster product uniquely your own.

Legend of Asia carves rather than paints this square tea jar, cutting robed figures in low relief across all four flat faces. Once glazed, the white porcelain gathers in every incised line, so the scenes read as soft shadow instead of color and reveal more detail the closer you look. With a fitted square lid, the square jar introduces flat planes to a shelf otherwise full of rounded silhouettes, and its corners are never mathematically true. The carved jar is high fired in a southern Chinese pottery town until dense and waterproof, so it holds up on a covered porch as well as indoors. Use the lidded jar for storage, group it with a painted ginger jar, or let this porcelain jar stand alone in shelf decor, chinoiserie decor and asian decor rooms.
