Austin Bev grew up in the tough streets of Brooklyn. Where the expression of one’s self was usually done through wall tagging, or as they say in Italian "graffito". Austin was influenced by many different artists, particularly Fernando Carlo. Fernando was well known for his expressive graffiti. The influence from Austin’s childhood is where the edge and contemporary look come from in his art pieces. Austin graduated from Pratt Institute in the early ’90s. Austin now travels all over America to look for inspiration whether it’s a tagged wall or an art museum. Austin loves to embrace all the unique and expressive simplicities life offers.

Since 1994, Barclay Butera has been the creative force behind his eponymous design firm and showroom in Newport Beach, California. His success in Newport prompted Butera to establish showrooms in Hollywood, California, and Park City, Utah. Barclay Butera's inspirations are drawn from grand architecture from coast to coast, European and Far Eastern influences, and everything from high-fashion runways to his far-flung world travels. But, he readily credits Old Hollywood and West Palm Beach as among his greatest muses.

The sun rises on a shadowy morning as light reflects off the water at dawn in this misty landscape.

The art piece is stunning. It is beyond expectation! The frame had some slight corner damage not at all related to delivery, that team Omar and Diego were fantastic, in time and very professional. The frame would not have been my choice in the area which I hung it. I believe it takes away from the beauty of the art and or possibly just not my taste. I would have loved to choose my frame. I am keeping it because I love it, and will figure out the frame issue which was resolved to my satisfaction with Perigold.. Kelly. CA. Wed Jan 31 2024

Codes of the Mystics II is an expressive and emotive work in keeping with the Lyrical Abstraction Movement of the mid-20th century. The Movement is characterized by free-flowing lines, shapes, and colors that imbue this work with a sense of fluidity and movement. The work functions as both an abstract form and is suggestive of written expression. An understated color scheme in hues of dove gray, sand, mustard, and cerulean complements the work's poetic nature.

I buy this ofter for design clients. Everyone seems to like it and it is so calming !. Candice. Naples, FL. Wed Mar 19 2025

"Driven" is an extraordinarily compelling artwork that has been a top seller since its introduction in 2011. The deep indigo blues, mixed with black and gray create a feeling of movement within the deep visual layers, accented by cream tones.

Used it above a tub in a master bathroom and with polished nickel hardware it really was fabulous.. Candice. Naples, FL. Sun Aug 04 2024
