Delicate, organic lines compose this soulful and energetic bonsai. The fluid, natural curves of the hand-cast brass bonsai tree embody movement and spirit.

The Butterfly Ginkgo collection celebrates the representation of flora as fauna. Michael's fascination with a particular type of ginkgo tree, the Ginkgo Biloba, or "Butterfly Ginkgo", which grows with a double leaf reminiscent of a butterfly's wings, gave rise to a fantasia image of the plant. Executed at the highest level of handcraftsmanship, each piece is rendered in solid brass with hand-etched cocoon-shaped vessels. The pieces in the collection are a tour de force of the handcrafted process, capturing the poetic spirit that is so deeply indicative of Michael's work.

The Lovebirds collection celebrates love and the deeply engrained nature in us all to bond with one another. The branch that the birds perch upon symbolizes growth and evokes tree-of-life imagery. The white, four-petaled flowers represent wholeness, unity, and innocence.

In Asian cultures, Bonsai symbolizes peace, harmony, and balance. It shows the tenacious fight of a tree against elements to create a true miniature replica of what we admire in nature. Bring these elements into your home with our gold leaf finished sculpture that sits atop a black marble base.

Nice looking sculpture. A bit smaller than expected.. Anonymous. Thu Dec 11 2025

The Tivoli Sculpture is a mature Japanese Maple bonsai in the windblown, Fukinagashi style. Bonsais are a Japanese art form admired for how they are bent to the gardener’s design over many years. They are also admired for their qualities of simplicity, deliberate imperfection, and respect for nature. Here, we have a highly cultivated old maple with a gnarled trunk in full leaf.
