The Exos Collection is known for its classic designs. With the Exos 10-Light Mobile, it takes a contemporary path with a minimized canopy and delicate metal tubes that guide cables to allow for a highly-adjustable, customized fixture. Thinly curved panels of perforated metal shades are illuminated by LED globes of satin white glass at various positions along the span of the suspended chip-like sculptures. The expansiveness of the panels is voluminous, yet seemingly airy in their perforated translucence. Influenced by pop art and sculpture, the Chips are functional lighting products comically named to express some of the personalities in Mat Sanders' designs. The Pathos Round 15-Light Multi-Drop Pendant dangles shades that are true works of art. The orbs have been doused in reactive glazes that make their special qualities known in the antique gold on the top and matte charcoal on the bottom, which will look different when illumination flows through them. The beads on the top were melted into the molten glass just before it cooled to bring even more effervescence to the design.
