The Villa Limone urn is meticulously crafted from Italian terracotta clay. Artisans hand-pack the clay into a mold through a process called calco. Each mold is then left to dry for 2-3 days, during which the clay naturally shrinks, making it easy to remove the mold. The urn is then transferred to a kiln and fired at 950 degrees, resulting in a beautiful piece that can grace your space both indoors and outdoors, bringing timeless elegance to any setting.

The Villa Chalice Vases are a true embodiment of Italian craftsmanship. Artisans employ the age-old technique of hand-packing clay into molds through a process known as Calco. Each mold is left to dry for 2-3 days, during which the clay naturally shrinks, making it easy to remove the mold. Following this, the vases undergo firing in a kiln at 950 degrees, and a second firing ensues, adding a white glaze finish. The result is a collection of vases that beautifully blend tradition and elegance.

The Beaufort collection of ceramic urns was inspired by the fluted urn-shaped finials that crown a green japanned bedstead in the Governor's palace in Colonial Williamsburg's historic area. The cornice and finials for the bed are based on a Hepplewhite design for a "Venetian" bedstead.
