This table lamp deserves to be alone in the center of a room on a pedestal. That gives the ability to walk around the piece to get a full grasp of the shapes created by the hand-forged steel pieces when they join and part throughout this design. The bases of the Tortoise drum lamps are constructed of thick sheet iron. Once completed, they are given an acid bath which produces a random, pitted texture in the metal which is enhanced by the antique brass finish. Bronze-finished metal shade. Antique brass base.
