Choosing items for our bath renovation was a long, tedious process. Finding a fluted glass door for our shower was the hardest piece of all. Most vendors that sell these charge outrageous prices, or they didn't not have the configuration or brass finish and slider at the top that I was looking for. In the end, I decided to take a chance on the Galaxy brand and hope for the best. The door itself is gorgeous... the glass is thick and the quality is definitely there. I was enamored the minute that we got it out of the packaging. There is one issue that we had with the doors after install. The ribbing on the door that slides made contact with the guide as it slid, and it made a rattling noise. I think that if the rubbing continued to happen, over a period of time, the glass would have worn down in that spot. We contacted the manufacturer and they sent us a plastic sleeve for the bottom of the door to ensure the noise wouldn't occur. That solved it.
