This lovely celadon vase is handcrafted. Different from colorful Jun porcelain, Ge celadon has a grayish-blue glaze and jade-like perfection. Carving is employed to adorn ware. Celadon production had a long history at Longquan, a city in Southern China and related sites, but the era of greatest ceramic production was not until the Southern Song (1127-1279), Yuan (1271-1368) and Ming (1368-1644) periods.

This elegant porcelain vase showcases a lustrous sapphire blue glaze with a delicately textured surface that reflects light beautifully. Its gently lobed body is enhanced by ornate sculpted handles in a golden-tinted tone, adding a touch of sophistication and visual contrast. A classic silhouette and fine craftsmanship make this a striking decorative accent for any refined interior. Measures [9LX9WX14H][Bot:4.5][Top:4].
