Jordan Thurston is a native of Garden City, NY, where he began his lifelong love of the creative arts in local after-school programs. Mostly self-taught, he continued drawing and painting throughout his formative years at New York University, where he studied applied mathematics. Inspired by the complexity of the world in its simplest forms, he draws on the shapes found in nature for creative expression. Jordan currently lives in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY, where he continues to paint and evolve as an artist.

Fern Cassidy was born in Oakland, CA, but grew up in Colorado. She enjoys traveling, being outdoors, food, and painting. Fern studied drawing and painting at CSU Long Beach where she trained under influential professors, but most of her experience comes from her personal practice. She works in all mediums, including oil, acrylic, watercolor, and gouache, but also likes to experiment with textiles and fiber arts. Fern finds opportunities to explore and experiment with colors and shapes, drawing inspiration from daily life and the things around her: “Art is a means to preserve and find meaning in life.”
