Austin Beiv grew up on the tough streets of Brooklyn, where self-expression was usually done through wall tagging, or as they say in Italian, "graffito." He was heavily influenced by contemporary artists like Fernando Carlo, who was well known for his expressive graffiti. This childhood exposure gives Austin's art pieces their signature edge and contemporary look. After graduating from the Pratt Institute in the early ’90s, he began traveling all over America to seek inspiration, whether from a tagged wall or an art museum, embracing all the unique and expressive simplicities life offers.

Very, very disappointed. This appears to be something I could buy for $100. The color was not as shown. I will probably not order from Wayfair again because of the "No return" policy on this item. I have just wasted $1000. Can't even resell it without major effort. Why I chose to order this, I'll never understand. The only positive thing I can say, "It was the right size!" The artist D’Alessandro Léon was the youngest of three brothers. When art competitions were a form of play for the brothers, it later grew to his obsession. D’Alessandro attended the Art Institute of California where he explored mixing mediums as well as digital. He also attended illustration, Sculpting, and Fine Art workshops. After spending long periods of time studying different techniques, D’Alessandro’s art became increasingly influenced by artists from the early 1900s. During D’Alessandro’s studies, he painted many different themes. He painted with restless intensity, often painting from morning until night. D’Alessandro was able to indulge his earliest artistic preferences for people, nature, architecture, and landscapes in his illustration and personal pieces.
