The inspiration for this collection comes from authentic designs, hand-knotted in the traditional style. The introduction of wool and silk adds the final touch of luxury.

The Wedgwood collection is hand-tufted and made in India. The pile material is 59% pure new wool and 41% viscose, the backing is made of cotton/latex. The pile height is 12/12 mm, the total height is 12 mm. The pile weight is 1600 gr/sqm, the total weight is 3600 gr/sqm.

Wool and viscose are cleverly combined to create this contemporary, hand-knotted line. Design elements are predominantly floral, but always beautiful, in subtly neutral color palettes.

The Gemstone Collection explores hand-knotted designs through abstract patterning, solid tonal fields, and subtle surface variation. Each rug is crafted from a blend of bamboo silk and hand-spun lamb’s wool, hand-knotted to create a smooth, reflective finish with natural depth in tone. The bamboo silk introduces a subtle shimmer that catches light across the surface, enhancing the layered abstraction of each design. Love love love this rug! I bought a new marine blue sofa set for Christmas, and was looking for a rug that would look good on our dark brown wood floor, with yellow/beige travertine and other yellow/beige accents in this room. The rug is so thick and fluffy and warm! The blue would look good with true navy, but our sofa set has a bit of green in it (like a very deep teal) and this rug was perfect. The yellows/golds are very very subtle but just hint enough to work with our gold/yellow/beige accents. The main color is a true ivory/cream and it also has very subtle hints of light gray. This rug would look equally good in a contemporary, modern, rustic, or traditional home, in my opinion. For a traditional home, it will shine in the more "casual" spaces of the home. In a modern or rustic home, it would look equally good in formal or casual spaces. We set it up 24 hours ago and so far, very little shedding. It arrived folded, not rolled, and when we unfolded it, it was perfect - no rolled edges or other issues to contend with. Can't say enough positive things about this rug. I love how thick and fluffy it is, love the colors for what I wanted, and the quality seems great. Worth the extra money to get what I wanted. Thanks Perigold! Update: Still love the rug, but unfortunately, it is not holding up. The surface wool that gives it the "cloud" look has worn off in places which is changing the look of the rug over time.
