Based on an original Asmara painting by Elizabeth Moisan inspired by antique french Aubusson rugs and the exuberant colors in the paintings of jean honoré Fragonard (1732–1806). Flowers and vines grow out of architectural borders and spread out over a greyish-cream background. Made with fine quality wool yarns this handmade needlepoint rug has many subtle color shades similar to antique rugs. Also available as an Aubusson rug and as a cut and loop pile savonnerie oriental rug. Has passed independent durability tests by the independent textile service of Dalton, Georgia, USA. Green manufacturing methods make this rug safe for children and pets. Use it with a pad.
