Verite features sawn planks of European white oak in their natural state and will show all of the hallmarks of naturally dried wood, including knots, color variation, and cracking. Although finished in a highly protective top coat, every Verite top will vary in appearance and coloration from piece to piece.
The wood is very rustic! Beware of unfinished edges that are uneven as well as flaws in the wood itself. The wood has cracks and indentations in it as well.
