Clarence Mallari designed the Croydon Wall Sconce, which he describes as an uncomplicated piece, even though the inspiration behind the gold wall sconce has a complex story. “Believe it or not, this wall sconce was inspired by the waterlily,” he explains. “The stems of the flower in nature, which are not visible above water, serve as the arms and the shades are in the shape of the flowers. The fabric on the shades is the color of the flower and the bobeches are the color of the water.” This piece is made of wrought iron in brass and satin black finishes.

When he designed the Mirasole gold wall sconce, Tom Caldwell was feeling nostalgic, remembering the décor of ice cream parlors that were staples at one time in America. The milky glass globes are supported on shapely stems in a contemporary gold leaf finish and ornamented with fluted leaf patterns in a darker gold finish to add interest to the design.
