Oval Silk Area Rugs

Building on the success of this model in our previous collections, the Spirit design is back in the spotlight with 3 new colors. Its Pop Art spirit and organic, comfortable shape, highly innovative when first released, make it a “must-have” in the collection. Hand-tufted in New Zealand wool and vegetable silk, it features the golden aplat pattern, a signature gesture of Géraldine Prieur's collections. The Spirit Beige rug is more consensual, but will add whimsy and voluptuousness to a monochrome decor.

Star Silk is hand-knotted from silk and the motif is hand-carved into the surface. Helen says: "I use this star pattern carved into metallic leathers, but the silk used for the rug really enhances it. I call it Star, but you could see diamonds or little boxes too."

The Magnolia motif first appeared in Westwood's Autumn Winter 2000/01 collection, the first in the long-running 'Exploration' theme.
