A spirited hand-woven area rug, with a design inspired by iconic tribal blankets.

This is a beautiful rug we purchased in June 2014 for use outdoors. It was billed as an indoor/outdoor rug and we kept it on our patio, under a dining table and umbrella. After one summer of use the rug is completely faded and we can't use it again. For $1200+ and a brand like Ralph Lauren, I expect much much more. This rug was purchased for our outdoor area (as seen above). I don’t believe this was made to be an outdoor rug, however it is working well for our area. Beautiful, high-quality rug. Colors are a bit more muted than they appear in the online pictures -- what appears to be the white pattern is actually more of a sandstone grey, and the blue is more of a medium denim/ocean blue. The pattern has the perfect level of presence and interest without being loud or overwhelming. The rug reads like a "neutral tone with interest" in the room. The grey on the edges in the photo isn't part of the rug, it's part of the rug pad that we haven't yet cut down to size.
