I was pleasantly surprised with how well this rug pulled my room together. The color description was a little misleading. The background is mostly a cream color with beige highlights. The grey is less prominate and shows up in areas of the abstract striping. The other colors include red, gold, black and touches of brown. These types of rugs in my experience wear flat quickly but if you are good about vacuuming gently once a week, and get a nice thick rug pad it feels quite luxurious!
